Your 2026 Guide to Brussels' Park Guinguettes

Since 24 April 2026, Brussels' park guinguettes have reopened their terraces for a new season running until 20 September. Four of them are managed by the BARC collective, a “family of bars” set up in the capital’s gardens with the blessing of Bruxelles Environnement.

Where to Find the 7 Outdoor Bars in Brussels This Summer

1. Maurice: The Cinquantenaire Park Bar with Free Sunday Yoga

The first to open each year. Maurice kicked off the season on 24 April 2026 in the shade of the Cinquantenaire arcades. Open 12 p.m. – 10 p.m., seven days a week. Bonus: free yoga every Sunday morning from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., from 26 April to 20 September.

2. Émile: A Photogenic Bar in Forest, Brussels

Émile is the “big brother”: located in Parc Duden since 2016, it is open from 26 April to 20 September, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Its sloping lawn and century-old trees make it one of the most photogenic spots in the municipality of Forest.

3. Fabiola: The Top Family-Friendly Outdoor Bar in Jette

Opened on 1 May 2026 in the green heart of Jette. With a playground next door and ponds just behind, it’s the quintessential family-friendly guinguette.

4. André: The Guinguette Near the Atomium

The bluest of the siblings. André is set at the foot of the Atomium, with a clear view of the monument. Expect grilled food, full fridges and a music programme all summer long.

5. Astrid: Local Beers and Pétanque in Anderlecht

On the heights of Anderlecht, the Guinguette Astrid focuses on a menu of quality products, local beers and pétanque at sunset.

6. Woodpecker Parc Royal: An Oasis in Central Brussels

In the very heart of Brussels, Woodpecker Parc Royal has transformed a lawn in Parc de Bruxelles into an urban oasis: deckchairs, Belgian beers, food trucks and evening DJ sets. Ideal for a break just a stone’s throw from the Palais Royal. More info: woodpecker.family.

7. La Villa: A New Summer Bar in Parc de Forest for 2026

Opened on 8 May 2026 by Géraldine Taymans and Alice Billiet, La Villa du Parc de Forest brings a forgotten villa in the heart of the park back to life. It features a terrace hidden in the trees, burgers and fries, concerts, yoga and workshops. Not to be confused with the historic Guinguette du Parc (open since 2016), which also remains in operation. What’s On? Free Concerts, Yoga, and More

The 2026 schedule published on guinguettesbarc.be features a mix of stand-up, concerts, yoga, nature workshops and family evenings. Everything is free to enter, with no reservations needed just for a drink.
