1. Your rights
Any individual or organisation mentioned or identifiable in our content has:
- a right of rectification in the event of a factual inaccuracy;
- a right of reply, based on the law of 23 June 1961 governing the written press, which we voluntarily apply to our online media;
- a right to be forgotten/erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) when the content contains personal data whose retention is no longer justified;
- an image right (Art. XI.174 of the Code of Economic Law);
- a right of removal in cases of clear infringement (defamation, invasion of privacy, images of children, etc.).
2. How to exercise these rights

Your request must include: your identity, the URL of the article in question, the passage you are disputing, and your desired reply or rectification.
3. Response times
- Receipt: each request is recorded and examined; no maximum deadline guaranteed at this stage.
- Standard cases: review, reply and, where relevant, publication of the rectification or reply, case by case; the deadlines of the law of 23 June 1961 apply where it is applicable.
- Urgent cases (infringement of dignity, invasion of privacy, images of minors, manifestly illegal content): handled as a priority, with a possible precautionary takedown after review.
- GDPR: reply within one month, extendable by two months under conditions (Art. 12(3)); erasure assessed under Art. 17, not automatic.
4. Correction notices
Any substantial correction is noted at the bottom of the relevant article, indicating the date and nature of the change (in line with our principles of fairness and editorial traceability).
5. Appeals
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the matter to:
- the Data Protection Authority (DPA) for a personal data dispute;
- the competent Belgian civil courts (in Brussels) for any other type of infringement.
