Good morning, Brussels! On Monday 12 October 2026, climate action comes to Tour & Taxis. Brussels Climate Week brings policymakers, businesses, researchers, associations and citizens together around one question: how can ideas become practical solutions?
The week is advertised for 12–16 October. Its central programme — conferences and exhibition — runs Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October, at Maison de la Poste and Gare Maritime. Partner events complement the programme throughout the week. That distinction matters when choosing your visit, so you do not arrive after the exhibition has finished.
🌱 A week to connect solutions
Hosted by the City of Brussels and powered by Motis, the event connects climate policy, innovation and industrial transformation. Energy, construction, mobility and circular manufacturing: its stated ambition is to bring together people developing, financing and implementing solutions, alongside those experiencing them in everyday life.
For a visitor without specialist knowledge, the Expo at Gare Maritime is an approachable starting point. Start-ups, research organisations, companies, cities and associations showcase climate and sustainability solutions. Instead of only listening to speeches, visitors can discover projects and talk with the teams behind them.
💡 Monday: technology, innovation and digital action
The programme opens on 12 October with Tech & Innovation, followed by the Conference Keynote. Digital action is also on the agenda: Green Digital Action Hub and Digital with Purpose Summit feature in Monday’s schedule.
This is not a promise of a miracle solution. It is an opportunity to explore technology’s role in the transition: what it enables, what it requires and which collaborations can turn intentions into action. Each session has its own admission arrangements; registering for the week does not guarantee a place at every event.
🗓️ Four days, five main themes
The official conference schedule is organised as follows:
- Monday 12 October: technology and innovation, followed by the Conference Keynote.
- Tuesday 13 October: energy.
- Wednesday 14 October: industry.
- Thursday 15 October: urban issues and nature.
Parallel events also address climate finance, fashion, tourism, sport, agriculture and sustainable construction. Some accept applications to attend; others are invitation-only. Partner events are independently organised and have their own registration.
🎟️ Free does not mean no booking required
The FAQ states that official activities are free: the conference, official side events and the Expo. Registration automatically provides an Expo pass. You can also apply to attend conference days and certain sessions, subject to availability.
However, partner events may charge admission. Free access should not be assumed for every entry in the calendar.
The Expo welcomes everyone, including children accompanied by an adult. Conference sessions are designed for professional audiences and are for over-18s. A family visit to discover innovations and a day of conference sessions therefore require different planning.
