Dine With a King for a Night on Brussels’ Grand-Place
An immersive dinner show in the heart of the world’s most beautiful square, featuring a royal banquet, troubadours and Charles Quint.

In Brussels, some places offer more than just a meal—they invite you to step into a story. On the Grand-Place, inside the historic guild house of Roy d’Espagne, time seems to warp in the candlelight as the room gently slips back to the Middle Ages.

An Immersive Dining Experience, Not a Seated Show
Here, you don’t just “watch” a show from your seat—you live the evening. String musicians, jugglers, troubadours, and characters in period costumes move between the tables. Charles Quint and Isabelle preside over the feast, the Fou du Roy teases the guests, and the fortune teller Larastral reads the future for the most curious.
The Royal Menu: A Three-Course Feast on the Grand-Place
A three-course menu inspired by the great feasts of the 16th century, served in the historic brasserie on the Grand-Place. A candlelit atmosphere, generous platters, flowing mead, and spontaneous cheers between tables: it’s a formula that has brought Brussels locals back for its 5th edition.

An Unusual Thing to Do in Brussels at Night?
Because the Grand-Place deserves more than rushed selfies. The Roy d’Espagne reminds us that you can truly inhabit this UNESCO World Heritage site—laugh loudly, raise a glass, and even meet a king. This is Brussels by Night at its most joyful: family-friendly, theatrical, a little bit mischievous—in short, quintessentially Brussels.
“You don’t just watch the Middle Ages, you step into them.” — The house motto.
