We all know the feeling: a city full of people, yet you keep circling the same five contacts. That is exactly the gap Rendez-vous set out to fill. Inès did not import an app: she brought the Rendez-vous concept to Belgium. And today, it is Brussels going out.

The project: putting human connection back at the heart of real life

"Rendez-vous is an events project with a simple goal: putting human connection back at the heart of real life. We fight loneliness and dating-app fatigue with friendly, accessible moments where meeting new people feels natural and enjoyable again."

What happens there

Rendez-vous Brussels runs a full programme every month, for different age groups: drinks 🥂, themed parties 🎉, board-game nights 🎲, picnics 🍽️, pétanque and mölkky tournaments, "find your match" drinks 🍸, speed dating 💘, and much more.

The point is meeting people in the broadest sense: events are open to everyone, and a few are designed specifically for those looking for romantic connections.

Come alone or with your friends

No need to show up with a crew: you come alone or with your friends, and you leave with new connections. That is the rule, and it is why the atmosphere clicks from minute one.. Volunteer ambassadors are always there to welcome participants and help them feel at ease. Every event also includes an icebreaker activity to get conversations and connections started.

The project has been running in Paris for 2 years. This is not a copy-pasted Parisian app: it is the concept Inès brought across the border, with its own Brussels account and its own monthly calendar — built for Brussels, its neighbourhoods and its people.
