'''# Share & Fun: The New Games HQ in Central Brussels

Opposite Bozar, a stone’s throw from the arts district, between Gare Centrale and Brussels Park, one new venue has been making waves since September 2025: Share & Fun, at Rue Baron Horta 6, 1000 Brussels. A 650 m² space that blends group games, a social bar, and a fast-good restaurant—which its founder sums up with the tagline: "M’eat, Drink & Play".

Behind the concept is Jérôme Desombre, a French entrepreneur based in Brussels. A former banker and strategy consultant with a background in mergers and acquisitions, he left it all behind in 2016 to “create jobs and make things more fun”. He had already opened Space Laser Game in Etterbeek and is continuing his high-risk venture with Share & Fun, aiming to attract corporate clients in particular.

A €1.3M Bet to Revitalize a Prime Brussels Spot

The venue, occupying the long-vacant ground floor of the BNP Paribas Fortis headquarters, was found after a six-year search that involved scouting ten other potential locations. The renovation, initially budgeted at under a million euros, ended up costing €1.3 million due to compliance requirements (fire alarms, sprinklers, security, disabled access, budget overruns...). The result is a bright, 650 m² space complemented by a sun-drenched terrace in a quiet cul-de-sac, with one level for the bar-restaurant and another for the games—all open 7 days a week and fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.

What Games and Food Can You Find at Share & Fun?

  • Two private karaoke rooms with over 40,000 songs, music quizzes, blind tests, and a Battle mode to identify the best singer.
  • Connected mini-golf — it keeps score, so no one can cheat, not even Trump 😉 — and this is Belgium, after all.
  • Connected darts — the score is displayed automatically, and a meme tailored to the player’s performance appears after each throw, guaranteeing laughs.
  • Interactive shuffleboard — a cross between curling and pétanque, with automatic scoring. A slightly competitive and very social game of skill.
  • Color fun — a 10-minute cardio workout on an interactive floor: “turn off” the blue tiles and avoid the red ones to stay in the game.
  • Bar — order via a digital system, 8 draught beers, cocktails, and a self-service beer wall for events. “I want someone to have their beer within two minutes of ordering,” Desombre explains.
  • Sharing kitchen — Neapolitan pizzas, sharing boards, bagels, and finger food are on the menu.

More Than a Games Bar: A Focus on Social Inclusion

This is what sets Share & Fun apart from just another arcade bar. Jérôme Desombre is proud of its open approach:

“I want people to look up from their smartphones, to break the cycle of loneliness, to meet up easily in real life.”

In practice, the team hires a person with a disability and young people without formal qualifications. “For me, degrees don’t matter. If someone has the right attitude and is ready to work with a smile, I’ll give them a chance.”

The venue is also set to host events: live karaoke nights, a comedy club, speed dating, talks by entrepreneurs, and musical partnerships.

How Share & Fun Boosts Brussels’s Nightlife and Appeal

  • Games, a bar, and a restaurant in one fully accessible and ideally located venue.
  • An intergenerational offering — attracting professionals and team-building events during the week, adults for evening and nightlife, and teens and families during the day and on weekends.
  • A tourist-friendly location a stone’s throw from Gare Centrale and Bozar, expanding the game and nightlife options of the Pentagone beyond the Grand-Place, in a safe area well-served by all forms of transport.
  • A vacant space transformed into a vibrant hub in the very heart of the city—exactly the kind of urban regeneration residents are calling for.
  • Accessible employment in a sector that rarely hires unconventional profiles.

Now that Share & Fun is open, the bet needs to be confirmed through team building events, and companies need to come there to support an entrepreneur taking risks.
