From 13 to 15 August, La Chaloupe d’Or serves a special €55 Flower Carpet menu in three courses, with seatings at 6.30pm and 9pm.

Starter — Sea bass and shrimp tartare, Granny Smith apple, cucumber, elderflower vinaigrette · or · Beetroot carpaccio, burrata, cherry tomatoes, basil oil and edible flowers.

Main — Suprême of poultry, Sambre-et-Meuse sauce with cornflower · or · Salmon in a spice and parmesan crust, orange-blossom beurre blanc, seasonal vegetables.

Dessert — Chocolate and raspberry mousse with a hint of rose · or · Crispy flowers, cinnamon sugar and vanilla ice cream.

The same menu is served to groups in the Secret Chalet, on the 4th floor, with a breathtaking view over the Grand-Place and the carpet.

📸 Balcony photobooth

A photobooth is set up on the balcony, with the Flower Carpet as a backdrop. It is free for guests who have ordered in the restaurant — the place to capture the moment.

🎻 Violin concert on the balcony — Friday 14 August, 7pm and 9.30pm

On Friday 14 August, two violinists take their place on the balcony. Two performances: 7pm and 9.30pm. Classical music above a million flowers, facing the Town Hall.

🎆 Around the carpet

The sound and light show lights up the carpet from 13 to 16 August, 9pm to 11pm, every 30 minutes (source: City of Brussels). The 9pm seating lands right on cue. New in 2026: a second carpet at the Brussels Stock Exchange, inspired by hops and Belgian brewing heritage.
