A reinvented table on Avenue Louise
A year ago, Le Loui reinvented itself. The gamble has paid off. In the heart of Avenue Louise, the Steigenberger Icon Wiltcher’s table has become a bistronomic address where flavours from around the world converse with a subtle Belgian touch, carried by authentic seasonal produce. Here, it all begins with the setting: fine glassware, standing pepper mills, amber light — the promise of a meal to be savoured unhurriedly.

Yudi Yahya, the Indonesian soul of Le Loui
At the stove, chef Yudi Yahya signs a creative cuisine lifted by an Indonesian touch. With precise gestures, tweezers in hand, he composes each plate like a painting: bold, frank flavours, always held in balance.

To whet the appetite
The tone is set from the very first bites: a salmon toast, silky cream and young shoots, served with a glass of white wine. An elegant opening that awakens the appetite and heralds what follows.

On the plate this lunchtime: tuna tartare and beef rendang
This lunchtime, two plates from the new winter menu won us over. The tuna tartare with its pickles, delicately plated: fresh, vibrant, with an acidity that awakens the palate. Then the revisited beef rendang — chilli, coconut milk, marinated red cabbage — tender meat, a deep and fragrant sauce, all the comfort of a winter dish signed with character. A pure delight.

To open the meal, the winter menu also offers the tuna gohu, red chillies and marinated onions, cassava fondant. Three fine reasons to step through the door this winter.
