Movement and a small tremor around 412 Avenue Louise: a stunning townhouse, long without activity, is coming back to life. And not for just any project. YAYA, a festive restaurant with a deeply Greek soul, has announced its arrival in this beacon of Brussels elegance, opposite tailor Degand and a stone’s throw from Lily’s.

The address is already making regulars dream: this is where, in the early 2000s, TRIBECA had all of Brussels dancing, back in the heyday of lounge restaurants.

« Yaya »: grandmother in Greek

« Yaya » literally means « grandmother » in Greek. The original name is carried in France by a duo of brothers — also behind the Kalios olive oils — who built an entire group around what they call « festive restaurants »: tables where sharing is at the heart of the experience, before the evening turns into a dancing party.

A 100 % Brussels project

An important nuance, noted by Grégory Sorgeloose, who broke the news: the Avenue Louise GREEK YAYA appears to be a local project, inspired by the original group — it shares only part of the name, but no common structure.

In the official register, the company YIAYA SRL was incorporated on 30 April 2026, with its seat at Louizalaan 412, 1050 Brussels — proof the project is serious and well under way.
